Kate launched PDX Insurance & Associates in 2016 after years of teaching Medicare 101 in community classrooms across the Pacific Northwest. She built the agency on a simple belief: insurance decisions are life decisions, and they deserve clarity, compassion, and someone in your corner who actually picks up the phone.

Today, Kate leads a team licensed across OR, WA, and FL, serving clients through every transition. From a first marketplace plan, to employer-sponsored coverage, to the move into Medicare.

Why I joined:

After five years of helping seniors navigate home financing decisions, joining PDX Insurance & Associates felt like a natural next step. Once I got to know Kate, I knew I had found a team that values compassion, clarity, and service. I love being a resource in a space that can feel frustrating or confusing, and I’m here to help clients approach Medicare with patience and confidence.

How I support clients:

My goal is for every client to leave our conversation feeling relief and hope. Medicare decisions can be stressful, but I’m here to lighten that burden. I want each person to feel truly heard and to walk away with a better understanding of their options.

What I’ve learned:

This role feeds my love of learning. Every client’s needs are different, and there is always something new to discover about the plans carriers offer. Finding the right fit for each individual feels like solving a meaningful puzzle, and I enjoy every part of that process.

A fun fact about me:

My family owns more than 700 board games! I love the creativity, variety, and challenge they bring, and learning new games helps keep my mind sharp and engaged.

We proudly serve the State of Oregon, including the cities of Beaverton, Portland, Hillsboro, Tigard, Tualatin, Newberg, and Sherwood. Our services extend across Washington, Multnomah, Clackamas, Marion, and Yamhill Counties.



In addition to Oregon, we serve clients in Clark County in the State of Washington and select areas in Florida.
